Of all the men in this world,
With whom I harbor my disdain,
For their violence and hate,
Half the population,
Just a bit more tender than they.
Injustice trails them,
With the strength of a man,
Cowering in the name of mental health,
Or not cower at the least,
And impose power over the other.
But among all those men,
In such great distaste -
It was a woman who betrayed,
The sacred vow we hold,
Between us, as women.
For that, I feel great shame.
